Nurse Jessica Katz

I've had the pleasure of working with Adrienne while caring for her doula clients as their registered nurse on a labour and delivery floor. Adrienne is an incredibly calm, patient and motivating presence who works in partnership with the nursing and obstetrics team to support her clients through their birth experience. After the birth, Adrienne stays by her clients' sides to support them in establishing breastfeeding and in bonding with their new babies. As a labour and delivery nurse I strive to provide supportive and dedicated care to my patients, but part of my job requires me to focus on more technical aspects of the job that take me away from the bedside. That's why having Adrienne there as a constant and supportive presence is so wonderful!
