Private Prenatal Yoga Sessions
Nurture and support yourself and your growing baby with at-home private yoga sessions. Sessions incorporate breathing techniques, mindfulness, and stretching & strengthening yoga postures that are beneficial during pregnancy and in preparation for birth. Suitable for women in any stage of pregnancy and ability level, from complete beginners to more experienced yoga practitioners.
Sessions may focus on any of the following:
Providing relief from pregnancy discomforts such as lower back tension, sciatica, constipation and swelling
Yoga and mindfulness for labour & birth
Promoting relaxation and relieving fatigue, tension and stress
Improving breathing capacity, energy levels and circulation
Developing a regular prenatal home practice
Cultivating a deeper understanding and acceptance of your changing body and connection to your baby
Private Postnatal Yoga Sessions
At-home postnatal yoga focuses on helping to restore your body after childbirth and the sleepless newborn period, while safely building physical strength and stability. Consult with your healthcare provider at your postpartum check up to ensure you can begin physical exercise (typically at 6-8 weeks).
Sessions may focus on any of the following:
Developing pelvic floor & core strength. Addressing issues such as incontinence and diastasis recti (abdominal separation)
Providing relief from physical discomforts such as back and shoulder tension
Promoting relaxation and relieving fatigue, tension and stress
Improving energy levels and circulation
Developing a regular postnatal home practice
Mindfulness practice
