Virtual Doula Support

A Virtual Doula provides helpful information, comfort and support during pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period. Your doula will support you virtually, rather than in-person. Birthing families can benefit from this option now more than ever, especially if there are restrictions on in-person support at the hospital or birthing centre.

What Our Clients Are Saying:

“We hired Adrienne as our doula before the pandemic hit Canada, so while we understood the rationale for the changing guidelines around doula support during Covid, we definitely were initially disappointed that she wouldn’t be allowed to be present at the hospital with us during labour. Luckily, our disappointment was short lived, as we quickly realized in our virtual prenatal visits that Adrienne was still able to offer us a wealth of resources, knowledge, and practical tips to help us through labour and the newborn phase! She went out of her way to be available to us for any questions we had, as well as helping us talk through some of the added uncertainty of having a baby during the pandemic. Adrienne’s virtual support was massively reassuring to us once my labour began- her encouragement and positivity helped me feel strong and capable, and once we were in the hospital, just knowing that we could reach out at any time (and we sure did!) helped us tremendously. Our little baby boy is now three weeks old, and Adrienne has continued to be there for us- we feel so grateful for her support, and her role in making our birth story such a positive one.”

“Although we would have loved to meet Adrienne in-person, virtual doula support is something we would consider even if restrictions change in the future. A once-in-a-lifetime experience such as the birth of one's child is only enhanced by a supportive doula to help promote a holistic and positive journey. Virtual doula support is just one of many ways we can use technology to help better access health and wellness resources and we greatly enjoyed working with Adrienne throughout the process!”
